Happy Birthday to all the August Birthdays! (Of course, I'm so late, no one will see my wish. I wound up with a bad disc in my spine and was in bed for a couple of weeks. I've been getting back to commenting over a couple of weeks.) Lots of pure light in this, very bright and happy, made stronger by all that white in the house behind the girls. And I love the counterpoint of the two girls, with Summer getting a little panicked by her friend's over-enthusiasm. Love that huge link chain too---in a gray to match the house---and that big tire---which, when one sees it from the bottom, looks as if it's floating in mid-air. Fascinating perspective with the framework of the swing being the 'frame' through which we view the house. A very bright and playful image, and giving Summer a pink top adds a whole new color to it. Always a pleasure to sit here and write on your work and your imagination and story lines. I hope your summer has been sweet, and I hope the rest of it is sweet too, for you and all you love.
