Ute, before I comment, I just wanted to tell you: The reason I haven't posted your dedi is that I was trying to do a 3D piece (in your honor)----but my Poser work is soooooooooo bad, I had to stop. (Sehr schlecht---ja?) So I'm making something in my 'own' style. I don't know if you like abstracts, but I make much better abstracts than 3D images. The dedi will go up within a week or two, I promise.
I love this image. The doll actually looks like her little brother...I have a "big sister," and believe me: When we were children, my sister would have loved to (magically) turn me into a doll---which she could have put in her closet when she didn't want to see me anymore! (We're very close now, but she would have loved this image, years ago!) I love the clarity of both children, and the contrast of the boy's deep reds---crimsons, really---with the girl's deep greens and blues. And you 'framed' them with a beautiful house, in mild blue-ish greens, which look nice behind the girl's heavy blues and greens. Delightful work.
