Description
On this day 1975 we lost the incredible Rod Serling, who most know him from his Twilight Zone shows, but also in the 70's after the zone he also hosted the Night Gallery. It was a hugggge favorite of mine. Love how he explained the two paintings for each half hour.

We traveled through the Twilight Zone to get to the Night Gallery and it was a great trip. Wonderful dedication, Steve. I hope your weekend is great!

Nice tribute to RS...hard to believe he's been gone for 44 years. Never missed any of his TZ...was overseas when NG was airing so never got to see it.

Excellent tribute to a great series and greater writer and TV personality. A genius really So many modern producers and directors have been inspired by Serling. Steven Spielberg got is first professional directing gig on for the pilot episode of 'Night Gallery' in 1969

Those were the days, indeed.... 3 channels, and you had trouble deciding which to watch because the shows were all good (mostly). Now we have 250 channels filled with mindless crap.
He was a master storyteller,.I could never get enough of The Twilight Zone.
You've used your own works in your images before, and you've always done it with real class, Steve. Here, they really give the feeling of a night gallery, and I love that both images have the same mysterious shadows as your main image has. Your central model is done with class and beauty; and you put all this on a stage, which is fitting for the great Rod Serling. This is the first dedi I've seen to Rod Serling---kudos! (He fought in bloody battles in WWII, and that shaped his cry against cruelty ever since. Maybe you've seen "Requiem for a Heavyweight," which he wrote, and which was searing. And I think "The Twilight Zone" was brilliant, as was his work with Night Gallery, among other projects. He smoked several packs of cigarettes per day, and that probably killed him ((at a little over 50 years of age.)) ) Thank you for celebrating him, and remembering the day of his passing. Love the light in this image, and you handled the "display" part beautifully.
