Description
This is the kind of project that can be endless.
There is a lot of buildings for which I didn't have any references, and a lot are missing or don't have the right proportions.
But for now I have decided to make a break and to post the first renderings.
Everything is modeled in Cinema 4D 6. Textured with Photoshop.

Wow! is all I can say to all of your pieces, I can't believe what attention to detail, how long did this take you? They are all excellent.
This is astonishing work. I once had it in my head to the same thing when I first started learning 3D, since I live in Manhattan, but I gave up long ago after I realized what an endless task it would be. I can barely believe you've manage to pull it off, and so well. Great job. I think you could make a lot of money selling this model set to the right company at the right time.
yes thats very good how long did it take you?
Thank you for your comments, I have worked on this project during one year from time to time, by sessions of four or five buildings. I don't know how long it would take if I have made it in one time. The file size is about 19 Mo + 20 Mo for the textures. 189186 Polygones I will post an aerial pict,to show the whole scene.
Outstanding work. I have only one critique: the textures of the white cabin and the grey roof of the ship look a bit flat. A bit of noise and/or diffuse turbulence would really improve them. Again, great image.
This is wonderful, the WTC before it was blown to smithereens.......so ridiculously terrible that was...
If every model is this detailed, you could... I don't know but it would be awesome!
The series can make a powerfull advertising for C4D ;) Awesome work!
Excellent work!
Don't cheat. This is a photo... smiling innocently
I Love your NY!
