Interesting light and textures.
walking on rocks near a shore line makes me nervous of slipping . I am very allergic to falling!
LOL to Richard's comment! I was thinking the same!
Thanks for such a simple, well composed, and so evocative an image, my friend. It pulled me from another grey, drizzly, Scottish Summer morning and enabled me to access my memories.
I was privileged to spend my formative summer's at my gran's in the Glens of Antrim, Northern Ireland. Walking down to the coastal village with its caves, cairns, ruined castle and abandoned hillfort, stirred the imagination. Pacing the pebbly shore, smelling the seaweed, picking up the beautiful, individual stones, feeling the textures, the soft, hypnotic crash of the short waves, the offshore breeze in my hair, the hazy outlines of Scotland over the calm looking, but deceptive sea, was a soul settling, natural adventure, an awe inspiring experience, that makes it, where the mountains meet the sea, my favourite place, my spiritual home..
Thank you for sharing your images. Kind regards, John.
