Description
July 12, 2015 - A railroad passenger car now lays alone, abandoned and rusting in the rural countryside of New Brunswick, Canada.

I took my rail trip on the Wolverine that goes 90mph for a time from Birmingham, Michigan, trackside, to the downtown Chicago main station among the John Hancock tower and other tall buildings. Then a routine late trip to Milwaukee and the Harley Davidson Museum. The train sandwiches my father had joked about from WW-II, with no butter, had been replaced by submarines in a standup club car. This now recalls how Grand Trunk came to Bad Axe in the 50's when passenger service was discontinued and Railway Express shut down and UPS was born.
