Day 22 (late morning) - Charly's Route 66 Road Trip - West of Oatman, AZ
In 2017 I invited another professional photographer to come with me as we tackled driving Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica. It took us 30 days, but we did it. It was amazing.
A few months after the trip I got very ill. I contracted an incurable neurological disorder (a form of muscular dystrophy). I'm glad I got to drive Route 66 when I had the strength.
This album consists of renders I did using my Route 66 photos. Since I can't take photos any more, I thought I'd use what I have and create some fun fantasy images.
My character Charly has this cool muscle car and she's driving Route 66. She's brought me along to photograph the experience. ;)
