This was a total shock when it went up: You're capturing abandoned jeans now! I assume these aren't as plentiful as shoes, in your city; but it's wild to see yet another piece of clothing in your grand abandoned series. The striations of the concrete fit the striations of the denim quite well. (The concrete looks like it has some flower designs in it!) And you've coaxed, from of the jeans, the same sense of intricate detail and myriad lines as you from sidewalks, pavements, etc. A lot going on in that pair of cutoffs. "Welcome denim, to the vast gallery of abandoned human objects in Harry's gallery! Take a seat, meet your friends!" Fine shot, Harry.
(I wonder what people think, as they walk by and see you photographing these pieces of human detritus, and doing it, I assume, with real concentration. They should be thinking: "Now there's a photographer!")
