This looks like a scene from "The Arabian Nights" (or "1001 Nights"). You have Middle Eastern motifs: the banners used for shade, the long gown on the man, with the turban and the long traditional sword. The woman is dressed in (almost) a Persian gown. And there''s a woman in the background who looks like she stepped into your tale, out of an ancient Persian folktale, or from the Bible. (You have some middle eastern urns back there too.) Plus, the stone architecture suggests old Middle Eastern structures. An enchanting scene. And your lovers are beautiful, in a parting gaze. Very sensitively done; the colors, and the long dancer's pose of the two lovers, are stirring and inviting. A very romantic scene.
