Description
BACK IN THE DAY, WE CAMPAIGNED A 64 FORD ON THE 1/4 MILE LOCAL PAVED TRACKS. WE KEPT HAVING TO COMPETE AGAINST A CHEVY LIKE THIS. IT WAS LOWERED AND THE BODY WAS CHANNELED. IT SPORTED A BIG BLOCK 396 AND IT WAS FIERCE ON THE TRACK. OUR 390 GAVE IT A HARD TIME, BUT, WE COULD NEVER TAKE IT. THE CHEVY WAS SPONSORED BY A LOCAL BAR AND IT ACQUIRED THE NICKNAME OF THE PINK ELEPHANT COBBLING THIS MODEL TOGETHER REMINDED ME OF MANY HAPPY MEMORIES. THANKS FOR LOOKING
