Fantastic photo!
thank you!
It's a splendid recording of all those sharp kind of needles, dear Prisca. I didn't know this plant, and wonder if they really grows in "Die Schweiz" ;-). Haha, it looks like you've visited our dear friend Brigitte, 'cause I think she has a kind of these in her garden.
hehe, of course its to cold in our region for plants like this, I was in the botanical garden of St. Gallen
thank you for comment my dear!
I seen a lens that costs $99,000.00 dollars online. my house did not cost that much 30 years ago. very beautiful flower and sharp macro
:-) thank you Richard!
Very good exposure, well done
I remember that you posted a very similar photo for my birthday, and I love both versions. The callistemon bursts into the picture like a blast of fireworks. And the rest of the photo is quiet and blurred (bokeh), which allows the callistemon to be the dominant subject of your photo. And, for a day scene (I presume this is daytime), the photo feels like an intense night shot, with great light on the main flower. An intimate, intense capture of this "bottlebrush" flower, with wonderful 'tips' at the end of every little tendril.
(I'm starting my comments, this morning, at the place where I stopped, the last time I commented here.)
