a render I did just for the heck of it. I decided to post this as a friend noted that I hadn't done much lately and was getting concerned. So here you go, Rod.

Nicely done! One comment about the wings. You can rotate them so they look more behind the fae instead of coming out of her right side. I tend to do this because you really don't notice when you are working on them.

Amazing how she balances on a pedestal that seems to be on the edge of tipping at any moment. Another of your high concept pieces, with few shapes, people, backgrounds...and each very bold. I love what she's standing on, it's such a bold addition to this image. She has balance and grace, and her outfit harmonizes with the purple behind her----a kind of brown-purple. Again, she stands like a dancer, in this case she's in between steps, waiting, pregnant with some kind of action we don't yet see. And the light on her is dramatic, and I love those metallic rusted bronze wings (the way bronze turns a rough green-blue). Amazing how much completeness you get with a minimum of means--even the purple background is a statement by itself.
