Description
So, after looking at like 20 "how-tos" and "readme" files .. I think I finally am starting to get the grasp on creating a more realistic skin for my gaming characters (something I have been trying to accomplish for over a year now).
I finally downloaded the "Interjection - Surface Interjection" from DAZ 3D, and that makes it a lot easier to get started to say the least.
Please feel free to provide input to help me learn more!

The above is the original Surface Interjection settings.
I edited the Subsurface Strength down to 80% here :
and edited the VELVET setting:
Adjusted the Specular Color and Strength:
Setup Diffuse down to 70%
weird and disappointing .. it seems as though when saving the original files as .jpg to upload here, they kinda all look the same :(
Scary closeup as I make his skin look 10 years older ..
