Christmas Eve services at the Catholic St. Peter and Paul church in Oberammergau. This is a normal routine and my grandnephew played trombone and my grandniece played violin during the services. Beautiful church and good photo. A pity that the suspended light produces that large hot spot in the photo, but without its light, no good photo. Thanks for posting this. I didn't realize the church was in Baroque style. Keep up the good work! :-)

That large light hot spot could be interpreted to be the glory of the Lord shining down on the people. Better that assumption than a glaring mistake.

I passed this church two years ago, in the Summer, as I was coming from France to take a rest in Oberammergau and start my Bavarian 'tour' ! I wish I'd done the same at Christmas, to see and share this beautiful view, as you've done it now.
