Description
Sapphire worked as a serving wench in a large tavern. Having never traveled outside the city, she was fascinated by the stories the customers told of places and people encountered on their journeys. Some of the customers brought her trinkets when they returned. Maybe one day she would have the chance to at least see beyond the walls of her own town.

Sapphire really does have a longing look, really good job on her expression and her pose. You've tilted her head as if she's fixated on his story, dreaming her way into it. And I like the contrasting concentration on the left-most male (cool renaissance outfit too). You have a very cinematic angle, we're looking down on the 'shot', and the third person---the man seated w/ his back to us---is partly obscured by that big medieval chair. (It has the traditional "quatrefoil" hole, and gothic arches so often found in medieval buildings and churches...those chairs could swallow a human being, they were so formidable.) And a real old-age meal (meat and bread.) Very enchanting and true to life. Really well done, Teri, in mood, light, angle and expression.
