Description
Adaline is attempting to make a cake for her boyfriend’s birthday. Instead of using a box mix, she wants it to be from scratch but, never having baked anything, the instructions in the cookbook aren’t making total sense. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that the special present doesn’t end up being a trip to the hospital for one or both of them.

(Had to try out the Messy Baker props to see how they work in Daz. Not too bad for the most part.)

When I first saw this, I didn't read the description upfront: But I definitely got the feeling she was making something that went south. I love the solid black (not a good sign), and either a broken utensil or else it's levitating. And intense light on her, and a look of quiet shock. Delightful once again, Teri. (I'm a good cook, but years back I made matza balls for guests who wanted a jewish meal: They came out so small and so hard, you could've used them against an army. ((You could've sold them at golf tournaments.)) Not only that, I used too much salt. It wasn't a success. And since most of them weren't jewish and didn't know what a good matza ball tasted like, they decided that jews had stomachs of cast iron, and probably ate reinforced concrete when no one was looking. I know what this woman is feeling...)
She reminded me of myself. I can cook superb Italian, Indian, Greek, Norwegian, Thai meal but I can't really bake a cake. After my action my cake doesn't look professional and all kitchen look like a hurricane was there lol Fantastic scene!
The expression on the face is priceless. You can sense the mounting frustration.
There's always a first time to everything. Adaline should have asked a friend who's experienced in such things to come and teach and supervise her!
