Description
Using Reflectors is a way to add light when shooting without flash. Here you see one photographer shooting, while another is assisting by holding the reflector. (We jokingly call this a VAR - Voice Activated Reflector. How does it work? "Hey, John, can you tilt that reflector a little bit towards me? Thank you.")
A gold reflector adds warmth (orange), while a silver one is neutral, and sometimes a bit cool (blue). A white reflector is also neutral and a little less cool than a silver one. Both silver and gold can boost specular highlights.
