Description
This is based on the "cloner" freebie on Renderosity a month or so back. It is a little like the "telepods" in the Jeff Goldblum version of "The Fly", but it also reminds me of the "evolution chamber" in the episode "The Sixth Finger" from the original "Outer Limits" series in the 1960s (which was in black and white). That was my favorite episode at the time: a Welsh miner played by David McCallum is evolved in three steps to a pointy-eared, big-headed, future man, and briefly spends some time as a caveman. Of course, evolution does not have a fixed direction, so the whole idea is ridiculous, and also it is a rip-off of the 1931 story "The Man Who Evolved" by Edmund Hamilton.

Awesome scene, love the black & white .
Yes, in some ways you could say we are in a state of de-evolution right now. Evolution is not a straight line upward. Nice concept and execution. - Bob
Cool image!!!
