Description
The Eyes Tell About the Lighting. As you can see in the catch-light, it is a window into the lighting set up. In this case, it was a huge softbox positioned just to the models left. By having the light strike at an angle like that, the iris becomes illuminated. And, because the softbox was so close, the lighting is almost flat. (You can see a little bit of a shadow on the right side of her nose (camera left).
