No matter how big and strong, some things can melt you...
A very old image, as you can see from the label. I used the original Freak and the DAZ Millennium baby, posed in Poser 5 and rendered in Bryce 5.01. When I realised it wasn't in my gallery here I decided to put it up. Technically not as good as my current work but somehow I still like it.

What amazes me is that you rendered this in Bryce??? Wow! I played with Bryce some years ago - never could get much decet out of it... I still have it somewhere around here - as well as in my DAZ Products - I might put it on the new machine and give it a go again...
Bryce requires persistence and a determination to get the best out of it. The keys are learning how to make decent materials for it and of course lighting. Don't try to use the DAZ Studio bridge to get content into Bryce, export it to disk and then import from there. If you use the bridge Bryce will crash a lot and use three times as much RAM for the same scene.
A major challenge is the user interface which is a combination of great design and complete insanity, like most interfaces where Kai Krause was involved in the design. His legacy is still holding back Poser in my opinion.
The payoff if you persist is the ability to build amazing scenes with great realism.

I always had a love-hate relationship with Bryce since version 3. Mostly hate...that interface got to me every time.
