Joanne likes to run along the old farm road next to the creek. Once she has completed her lap, she can cool down by skinny dipping in a small pool where the creek bends away from the road. It is private property so she doesn’t have to worry about being seen – at least most days. Today, as she climbed out of the water, a cough made her turn quickly. Sitting under an old tree was a stranger with a backpack and a smile. “I always did like this spot as a kid but I think it just became my favorite spot on Earth today,” he said. Joanne realized he was the owner’s grandson but continued to glare at him as she said “I would appreciate it if you would get off my clothes so I can dress. Your Grandfather needs to give you a refresher course on manners.” He laughed and threw her the clothes but had the decency to turn his back as she dressed and apologized to her. As she stomped off, he admired the view and vowed to get his Grandfather to introduce them properly so he could prove he knew how to behave like a civilized man – mostly. I was trying out the Expressions by Thunder3D at Renderotica and this combination looked interesting. Threw the rest together and the story popped into my head. Hope you like it.
