Description
Before digital assets, there were wooden and EPS foam props and sets. The "iron" pieces are carved out chunks of EPS foam, then textured with plaster and painted.
Boy, life is sure easier with DAZ and/or Poser. ;)
As to the lighting - 5x3' softbox with no diffusion cloth at camera right with a reflector adding a little fill. Behind the props a violet gelled light spilling on the background and camera-left props, but keeping it off my model.

Great image!!!
Beautiful!
great lighting on this shot and a nice history to accompany it too; still think renders have a long way to go before they cross the "uncanny/unnatural valley" tho
@paul_gormle. I agree, but they are getting closer.
