I don't believe (in my mind) that a shadow would cast on the Gate (the green 'electric' field behind the ship). I'd have to research more on that.
I don't like that Flare underneath .. I should have turned off that light as well.

Lights didn't turn out within DAZ, so I added them with PSP after-the-fact.
Gate Lowered (Field Down) .. as Vanguard exits Star Carrier
Interior lights go off as the gate lowers to nearly hide that the ship is leaving.
