Alstroemeria est un genre de plantes, les alstrœmères ou alstrœméries (dont le nom est tiré du nom de Claude Alstrœmer, naturaliste suédois disciple de Linné), à fleurs vivaces, à racines tubéreuses, de la famille des Liliaceae, ou des Alstroemeriaceae selon la classification phylogénétique. Également surnommé « lis des Incas » ou « lis du Pérou ». Originaire d'Amérique du Sud, le genre comprend une cinquantaine d'espèces. Alstroemeria is a genus of plants, Alstrœmères or alstrœméries (named after Claude Alstrœmer, Swedish naturalist and disciple of Linné), with perennial flowers, tuberous roots, of the family Liliaceae, or Alstroemeriaceae according to phylogenetic classification. Also known as "lily of the Incas" or "lily of Peru". Originally from South America, the genus includes about fifty species.
