Description
To the Aztecs, Quetzalcoatl was a feathered serpent, a flying reptile (much like a dragon), who was a boundary-maker (and transgressor) between earth and sky. He was a creator deity having contributed essentially to the creation of Mankind.
Here we have fortuitously encountered a priestess of a Quetzalcoatl cult, a highly secret cult of a long-lost religion of the region. She, of course, is none too pleased to see us. Let's hope we can leave this dark and dank place to tell the world about our discovery.
Rendered in Poser Superfly. I'm really beginning to love this render engine...always nice to learn something new...

She seems to like her skulls!!!
Absolute beautiful!!!!!!
She really looks wonderful, and from the look of things you seem to be getting along very well with Superfly. Your lighting is wonderful here. Guess I ought to put PP-11 on this other laptop and experiment - if I ever get caught up with everything else... LOL
I remember seeing a piece on the History channel a few years back - one of those programs about the possibility of aliens arriving long ago. Anyway, the showed a pyramid somewhere in Mexico where the Aztecs had sculptures of Quetzalcoatl along the staircase leading into the pyramid. If I remember correctly the legend was that when the setting sun struck the heads of the Quetzalcoatl sculptures the aliens would return.
Of course the Aztecs came up with the Dec. 21, 2012 thing, too - but it's probably our misinterpretation on both counts...
very mysterious
outstanding image with the lighting and pose. people should look at the old legends and myths. They contain a bit a truth that we should not ignore
