Rod, I don't know if you will believe me or not, but the product that I designed and built on my own and which currently is being used in a large multinational is called - Firefly !!! What a amazing coincidence in the name for the secret blonde haired girl ;) ! Another exciting page ! I am totally engrossed on the story you are telling.... most interesting.... Love it. Btw. did I miss something, I can't seem to locate your page 22... Odd, will check the gallery again. I jump from page 21 into this.

I'm back for a couple of follow-ups, and it gives me the opportunity to comment on another of your TNA installments...I have no idea why I commented on a few AFTER this, but not on this. (When I return for comments, I sometimes skip over images inadvertently, mea culpa...)

Well I remember thinking when this went up that you've done a whole chapter in one room, and you still made it both visually and thematically very engaging. The comaraderie of the women is apparent from the start, how they back each other, care for each other, even for a newcomer to the team. (I wonder if SEALs or Reconnaissance operatives are the same way---they must be, as they're gonna be working with these people very, very closely...) Every frame has the same basic layout, but the dialogue and subtle changes make each one compelling and inviting. I love the dark hues and shadows: It feels like a real office meeting, with private conversation. And love the color schemes with browns and reddish browns permeating. In your final frame, you pull back the camera (so to speak) and reveal that great green light on the left (well, it's there before, but not in as much open space); and Mr. S's standing posture brings another big light to the frame, both in her sexy outfit (and appearance) and in her beautiful bright blouse which is in real contrast to the darker hues of the other two. (I really like how you open up, and light up, the whole installment with that final image.)

You prepare us for the next phase with Mrs Smith and the others, as she departs. Also I love the semi-pixellated director, and the very military looking background; and the firefly logo. (Reminds me of the old series---forgot the name, dammit!---man from u.n.c.l.e.???---where the director opened up the show with a taped message, and ended with "this tape will self-destruct in 15 seconds..." I was a nervous wreck! (Since we made lots of tapes as musicians, I'd end with "this tape will self-destruct in 15 seconds" and then---after 15 seconds---shout "juuuuuust kidding!" It wasn't funny the first time, believe me, and it reeeeealllly wasn't funny the 400th...Got a lotta, "Mark? Did ya think we'd laugh 'harder' the 2000th time???" But hey...this is masterfully done, and you kept me engaged without ever leaving this office. (Well, I mean, the inhabitants aren't too shabby either!) More first rate work.

That was "Mission Impossible" with the self-destructing tapes. You'll se the occasional reference or Easter egg from UNCLE or MI in this story. 😉
