in small size, this is a mandala-like creation, with beautiful forms emanating out of that yellow/red-slate/pale pink center; the forms all look like cross sections of highly complex fruit forms. Further, you don't have pure symmetry on both sides, which gives real variation to your image. Also: Beautiful use of whites and blacks, and occasional purples too.
Then in zoom, we suddenly see the many lines inside each protrusion, each 'finger', with lighter and darker forms, and very fine lines around the edges. These yellows become a gathering of several hues, as do the brownish-reds, and the pale pinks, etc. And those crunched-up cellular forms all around the center become complex cross sections of primal plants; while your black and white sections are filled with smoke, mist and wonderful silk-like layers. A big beautiful work, Mandi---I hope your fans zoomed---and highly complex and life-filled as well...
