Description
Jorja and Ipo met their first day at this small, exclusive resort. They hit it off immediately and things were going beautifully until a new couple checked in. Jorja couldn’t put her finger on why, but there was something off about this pair. They were friendly enough, especially the wife. The husband didn’t seem troubled by his wife’s flirting. He actually looked like he enjoyed it, but Jorja had seen the steely glint in his eyes as he watched the reactions of the men his wife targeted. Heaven help the man who crossed the invisible line drawn in his head. If it weren’t for the fact that she had grown very fond of Ipo, Jorja would pack her bags and leave. Unfortunately she did care and didn’t want to see Ipo hurt either mentally or physically, so she would hang around and try to avert disaster – or at least be there to call 911.
This one kind of grew a life of its own as I went.

One comes to a holiday resort only to run into an assortment of people who have to view each other with all sorts of misgivings. Talk about a holiday made sour!
...and then things got really complicated! I love that, when the couple get together, their moment of union gets blown out of the water by another couple, both of whom look suspicious. Your words and visuals really do capture suspicion, and lots of private, devious thoughts. I love the expression on the wife---and such a striking bright sunset-colored outfit as contrast! And he looks pretty fixated--as you say one doesn't want to cross his line. Their relaxed loving pose belies their suspicions. ALso, I love that the husband's shoes are outlined in super bright white, like he wants to be the center of attention...and really nice work with the furniture, and the light and shade on it. (And those apples sit there innocently glowing yellow and red.) A fine tangle of human emotions, and a really fine series. (Ipo changed his shirt---apparently he's got a ton of shirts like this!) Really sensitive work, Teri.
