I got married in my grandmother's backyard the summer before Kindergarten started. It was a very serious affair. Grandma provided a nice white sheet for the brides gown, and I had one of Grandpa's ties. Everything was going well until I discovered I would have to share my Big Wheel - that was the deal breaker. She tried to say 'no take backs', but I was like 'nope, not going to happen. Funny thing too, because that seemed to be a precursor to a lifetime trend. As soon as a girlfriend says she wants to drive my truck, all deals come off the table.
Now the ten ton shoe is going to drop because I don't see Jerome's parents seeing this as remotely amusing. I know it will work out in the future, but how are you going to handle the In-Laws? I love how wonderfully Elliot is treating Jerome.
