I opened DAZ and discovered that I had installed some new characters and environments - This Zelie and she is standing in her pool waiting for someone to join her....

I saw this when it went up, and almost broke my silence and commented then and there. Your sepia, and the way you handle all the details, is beautiful. It has the feeling of a 19th Century print. And you got lots of variety of light and dark tones---it really feels like an antique photograph. The leaves in the background---both the long sheaths in the tall flower pot (near the center) and the small leaves/flowers in the background---are articulated with real elegance and finesse...And the variety of tones in the bricks, and the gentle play of reflections in the water---you did this with real panache from top to bottom. And Zelle, in addition to having a thoughtful musing pose (she looks like she's about to break into a ballet step), is clothed beautifully for your picture...the semi transparent skirt fits the tone of the water perfectly. Beautifully done on all counts, with a feeling of a moment of repose from a simpler age; and it's couched in a place of classic beauty...a beautiful image, Mike.

Ah memory! I have sometimes bought a character twice, having forgotten I already had it ... I like the sepia treatment, but would increase the contrast a little so that it looks less flat.
