Description
This is the month when these yellow daisies provide the perfect food source for all sorts of insects.
This bee, Megachile species, probably centuncularis, is one of my favourites. She collects pollen on her underside.

An excellent pair of images. From the back she looks like a stout little lady. I live just across the street from a small protected marsh but can't remember the last time I saw a bee. Life in the suburbs.
