I first came up with the idea for this artwork during a deep depression in 2009. I’ve been working on artwork after artwork redux trying to nail down the concept over the years. I’m still not sure that I’ve really “got it” yet with this one but it does finally look good. The concept behind this artwork is rather tragic. I learned the hard way that people who don’t truly understand what you’re going through have a tendency to leave you. I was trapped at home when I came up with this idea of being trapped in the fish bowl while everyone leaves.

Well done!!!
Beautiful but terribly sad image... Depression is a lot more deviating then people realize... If you haven't experienced it, it is hard to understand... It isn't just feeling sad... And it isn't always easy to recognize, especially in yourself! Depression over losing a job caused me fail to recognize the seriousness of an infection in my left foot that almost cost me my leg, left me hospitalized for five months and still complicates my life!
An epic scene. Maybe a bit overdone, but a lot to look at and it all fits.
Beautiful and moving image. Art is a wonderful way to express emotion, isn't it? It offers some relief.
