Description

On the evening dog walk I came across this myriad of little dancers. I have no idea what sort of fly they were as the the action was frenetically fast and erratic. I was really pleased with the rather eccentric results. I see from the exif that the camera chose 1/15 sec , so each little line shows how far each insect moved in that split second. Fascinating! Not fireflies I assume. They look like flying caterpillars. What an outstanding result.
