Description

Cleopatra looks ahead to a wondrous future as Caesar promises her the world. They both lust for more power. Creation Date: June 23, 2018 Software Tools: Poser 11 Pro, Photoshop CC Notes: This is actually a redux of an artwork I first created in 2011 as a prequel to my later recreated artwork, Last Moments. Here we see the elder Caesar promising Cleopatra everything she’s ever wanted as she dreams of a powerful future that will never be. I tried to make her look more focused on what he’s promising her while he is more focused on wanting her; if that makes sense. Tech Notes: The base render was created with an HDRI lighting setup then modified in Photoshop to bring out the antiqued colors and further enhance the details. I think I used three actions, several adjustment layers, a few overlays, and a glowy trick which is so cool that I want to use it on everything.
