Hm ... Interpretation of texts is a tough business - and full of errors. In the course of history so many mistakes have crept into the book of books (because neither the translators are good for anything) and fashions ... That one can confidently doubt many so-called truths. Leviticus ... Is not an original text, but an apocryphal of more than doubtful origin ... Well, maybe you can see that here in the dispute.
