Sometimes, it's just hard to beat an original.
Remember when they changed the formula for Coca-Cola several years ago? Yeah..... That worked, didn't it? LOL
I've seen a few renders of the new version of the Girl - G8, and while she is really cute (and I'll most likely end up getting her), she is a complete departure from the original "The Girl" look. I know Mike mentioned that in his delightful post with her. It seems each new iteration of her has stepped farther and farther away from the original. Maybe this is what DAZ is trying to do.... I do have G6 and G7 - which I love - but G4 will always have a special place in my heart!
I'm sure by now most of you know I'm the biggest Girl 4 fan in this universe, and probably several others. When I first started playing with Poser 8 back in 2009, she was the first thing I actually bought from DAZ - and I went all out and bought the Girl 4 Pro Pack for 100 bucks. I never regretted it.
Anyway, I felt inspired to do this piece with one of my all-time fave CG ladies. Hope you enjoy! BTW, I have a UHD (3840 X 2160 @ 300dpi) version with no watermark on my Patreon.
Again, thank you for all your prayers, well-wishes, and support for Joshua. He's started his therapy, and is doing well, but it's still going to be a long road for him.

I haven't seen the new one, or maybe I did and didn't recognize her at all. I agree with you, G4 has a unique icon look all on her own. Annnnd Coke, I lover the stuff, but I can't drink it. It does something nasty to my tubes. Oh well. I'll stick to coffee.
And when they brought it back, it was Coke Classic I seem to recall......Sweet character render!
I loved the Girl when she first came out but after my computer crashed and I lost so much, I decided to try and consolidate what I work on. I'm years behind everyone lol.
Great scene ! ! ! G4 has still got it. Hard to improve on an original ! ! !
She looks super fine Rod. No one can bring out the Girl in the Girl like you. I must admit, however, that I can be a nostalgic progressive. There's something to be said for the original, but it wont stop the future from arriving.

LOL I think I lost mine a long time ago. So if anyone finds a couple minds out wandering around aimlessly, they're probably Dan's and mine. Just send 'em back to us. I'll cover cab fare....... 😆
