It will be no complete Game, only the opening part.
Its the Spanish Opening with Berlin Defence until 'Berlin Wall'.

In Germany some figures have different names.
Here is the complete list:
King - King (König)
Queen - Lady (Dame)
Rook - Tower (Turm)
Bishop - Runner (Läufer)
Knight - Jumper (Springer, but also Pferd = Horse)
Pawn - Peasant (Bauer)
So I decided:
The Rook is a bully girl.
The Bishop is a runing girl.
The Knight is a horsegirl.
There are 6 different figures in each color, 32 for the whole set, beside some environment like the referee.
The figures are all made as single characters. They are exported as .obj and reimported as props as often as necessary.
This is some work to do, but it saves a lot of memory.

As much as I like fancy chess pieces, this variation of chess suffers from the handicap only the well known Staunton managed to avoid, nl lack of easy distinction between the pieces.
Well, I think you are perfectly right. Playing with a Staunton chess set on a table chess board, mainly viewed from top is the best for a real chess game.
I confess, I thought chess would be a good medium to show how to handle a complex situation with many figure, 33 in this case, with changing expressions and attitudes. A chess game tells a story.
But nevertheless - I enjoyed building the scenes, so I hope you can enjoy the results.
