while I'm just about at an hour (and have to go), I chose this because it's a robin. (There are whole bunch of images I want to comment on, but I'll have to stop with this for now.) I love robins. I studied their songs years back---they were my intro into bird song. They have these tight short warbles, where they bend and join pitches very rapidly (many birds do, but the robin has series of them, ba-da-bip, ba-da-bip, over and over). And anyway, I really like how this little robin is peeking over that ledge to find its mother (or maybe it's waiting for Chinese food to be delivered). I like the verticals behind it too. Feels like a real baby bird checking out the street for its mother's return. Sweet shot, Andrea. Great to comment here, as always. I'm just sorry I can't do more...hope you're doing well!
