Description
This bed of Matteuccia struthiopteris has outgrown its space and taken over my fernery and needs a lot of thinning. There are several other species in there that can't be seen !
This is a close-up with Topaz filter 'finger painting' and then some Photoshop. See how it looks in real life Here

both images are great! I can see they are pervasive
Wow you did a wonderful job, looks like they are waving !
The first one looks very thick, and dense with a lot of wild indeed.
Thanks for sharing.

Both look great but I prefer the Photo shop version.
Very attractive ferns made even more lovely by your post work.
Perfect filter for these ferns! I've made a note of it. SO exciting!!
Super beautiful and so wonderfully green. A feast for the eyes :)
Superb capture and post work Andrea. God bless.
Lots of different greens to see in other pic.
you really know your plants...you could be making-up all those botanical names, and I wouldn't know the difference: You know that, right? (This one's particularly complicated...)
why do all Topaz filters have the weirdest names?
the original glows with yellow light, and the sharpness is beautiful
this one has a wonderful graphic feel, and almost etch-erly. They're both wonderful pictures.
I have no 5, I thought I did, but I was wrong
yeah, I wrote "etch-erly"...I have very little imagination.
This plant sings green and yellow. Wonderful artistic choices andrea.
