The boulevards, or the avenues are better English words to describe these. In English, an alley is usually a small, narrow back street, often unswept (ugh! Dirty!). Also a hiding place for unpleasant individuals or animals. I prefer to avoid alleys if possible. This is a nice photo of an avenue. Keep up the good work! :-)
