This was my first car. It had a straight 8 cylinder engine and Dynaflow automatic transmission, which means it had no direct gears in the transmission, but rather was fluid filled that eventually got the car going. It wasn't fast on take-off, but was oh-so-smooth when starting out. Being a big and heavy convertible like the one you've pictured, she could really cruise the highway, but boy-oh- boy, it sure couldn't pass up a gas station. It only got 8 mpg for me. (still love it, though)
