Description
I can't remember what I did to this both in Topaz and Photoshop, but I quite like the Van Gogh type outcome!
The dome is on the Aquarium and the roof to the left is the pier head.

Nice ,It dosen't matter how you did it unless you want to repeat it.

Like what you have done, great effects.
Wonderful postwork
Excellent
Gorgeous colors. This has a very inviting atmosphere.
Before I read your comment I thought "She's gone all Van Gogh on us." Yes you have and its brilliant. Just a stunning piece.
The postwork is great in this. Beautiful!
You have made look like a postcard Andrea !
Super well done.
So beautiful and so painterly :)
Outstanding post work Andrea. God bless.
Skipping way ahead (I'm at nearly 40 minutes, and want to get at least one of your recent uploads before I step away), I had to do this because it's so suggestive and powerful, and yes it feels very van gogh-like---a combination of his later painting and his earlier darker portraits of farmers and workers, etc. It also has a little Munch in it. It's also a bit graphic. You've brought out the deep darks here, and contrasted them with these greenish tinted yellows and oranges. And the lines make it very graphic, almost etch-like. A terrific image, and very evocative expressionistic. And the pier head has an almost chinese feel, to me. Wonderful work, Andrea. I'm sorry I can't comment on lots more, but I've seen every piece, and all the flickr versions as well, and your gallery remains one of my favorites. Maybe I'll get a couple more before I step away again...
just plain wild and beautiful
