Description
Lysichiton americanus
The council have planted lots of these, and also Cannas, in the Upper Gardens. They love boggy ground.
They were introduced to the Uk in the first half of the 20th century, and have escaped from gardens into the wild.

Too pretty for a name like that.
How lovely to have them growing in the wild. I had one but it died on me. They are hard to get here. 😀
Impressive
Very attractive. Hopefully the fragrance does not match the name.
I love to see something new, and this looks so similar as the Zantedeschia aethiopica, Andrea.
Excellent
Superb capture and post work Andrea. God bless.
Great composed capture! :o)
