We have all our stuff in the one box!
You are very organised. I can remember making a needle case at school.
a tidy mind and beautiful colours
Both are colorful and creative. All the needles I inherited are in plain cardboard holders. Now what are they used for again? {;->
Excellent
Clever idea. !
perfect idea for those pointed discussions about sewing
Glorious image. Love that you made it from scraps, love the boldness of the hues, love the topaz treatment, and how the needles flow out like they'r part of the design. Your filter gives a flowing-river feeling to it; and makes the needles part wisp/part needle. A stark image, and I'd put this on my wall. Love it.
(I watched a friend of mine felt about 6 old sweaters, and it was terrifying! I was so trained never to heat wool, that to watch her take 6 beautiful sweaters---they were holey and worn, but still beautiful---wet them a bit, then stick them in a dryer? I almost passed out. She said, "relax!" I still get jitters thinking about it. I think in the original 10 commandments, one of them was, "for god's sake, don't put wool in the dryer! Your clothing'll fit a chipmunk...")
