Male and female
So unalike
One as dark as the night
One a bright spirit of light
Two opposites
A powerful force
Of positive and negative that ignites
One a stillness descending
One a movement ascending
Male and female
Opposite and contrary
Together they discover
A perfect harmony and balance
Each complimenting the other
Interconnected and giving rise to one another.

A white wolf and a black wolf, inside a heart-shaped dream catcher, in the glow of a big wolf moon. Two wolves, one yin and dark, the other yang and light, each a part of a force that becomes more powerful and complete when connected, forming a perfect harmony and balance. This mixed medium work is from my Dream Catcher Collection of art. Special thanks to Ilona Krijgsman for the use of her wolf photos as a reference.
