Description
Phelsuma madagascariensis is a species of day gecko that lives in Madagascar. It is among the most widespread day geckos and is found in a wide range of habitats. With a length of up to 30.5 centimetres (12.0 in), it is also the largest day gecko in Madagascar. (The highly restricted Round Island day gecko is the only other extant species with a similar maximum length; the extinct Rodrigues giant day gecko was even larger.)

Tu en as vu des animaux superbes! Excellente photo, Mo! Bon week-end!
Mon plus grand plaisir est de visiter les parcs animaliers de maintenant, pas les vieux zoos d'autrefois, je me sens bien en compagnie des animaux !!
I worked in a research lab in 1971 where they had gecko-gecko. 9 inches/22 cm. My were they fun, even running upside down on the ceiling! NOT so easy to catch. :-)
I think you have to run fast to catch this kind of animal, and it's going to hide in places where humans have a hard time finding it.
It is very good!
