Love the backlighting
Beautiful rose - wonderful colour!
I am very partial to apricot colored roses but then again I love them all, except for their thorns. One of my roses jumped out at me as I was deadheading this morning, the air turned blue for a bit. haha. A beautiful capture.
Beautiful rose.
Beautiful rose, great shot !!
Beautiful rose, and a great photo of it!
Harry, I only have energy for one other image right now (mea culpa but it's all I can do now), but I've seen everything incl the many shoe and glove shots (incl your added backgrounds, which add another layer of creativity to an otherwise terrific series), and your street people and unicycles and rain-on cars and fog, etc...and of course your non-pareil flower series, of which this a sterling yet typical example. Sumptuous, sensual, wonderful light---seems to come from the side, leaving the center doused in deep oranges and reds. It's beautiful and mysterious, and with a background of dark textures to set off the beautiful rose. Splendid. These flower shots just keep coming at the same high peak...this is a truly great series.
