Very nice work indeed !Scale models were one of my first pratices. Just a detail : the perspective of your shot is corretly align with the background, but something remains false : the orientation of light. In the background, the sun comes from the right, in your shot the light comes from the left.it is not so obvious at first glance, but it prevents us from accepting the composite of the image as completely realistic.Keep up the good work
A sharp observer you are!!! Thanks for this. For me it is a very small problem, I shall put the bg in a mirror image and Voila!. Thanks for this comment! A salute from Gerrit.
Mud puppies at work. Do not disturb. Man, this is SO good. Something you have not tried before. Just that little silly direction of light thingy. I know, because I've run into that problem myself (and how annoying it is - I don't see it but someone else does.) The tanks in the background look like they are in a storm with big waves. I wonder how their crews are feeling? On crew member said after the war it was like being in a dirty engine room of a rolling ship at sea. The stench of vomit sure didn't add nicely to the stench of oil (which by itself can make one very sick indeed). Keep up the good work! Am looking forward to your next great job! :-)
Fine story and comment. This war was one hell of dirt and smell of death .Salute, Gerrit.
