Another bit of playing around with compositing, blending modes, and DAZ Studio. The young lady is my own creation using an image I found somewhere in my massive store of reference images. I used FaceGen to create her face morph, then did a bunch of fiddling with the Genesis 3 morphs. Then it was a quick stroll… Well, maybe not so quick… Through Photoshop. The background photo was one of my own from a few years ago. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Just for giggles, I'm gonna go ahead and put this one up as available-for-sale. I have to wonder has anybody sold anything? I wonder about the feasibility of selling art on a website full of artists… LOL! Anyway, on the off chance that anybody purchases this you will also get a version without my signature in the lower right. Otherwise, just sit back and enjoy the image!

Yeah, I don't know of too many success stories with the new 'sales' feature on RR, but I haven't asked many people. I wish you good sales, Rod! I don't know why people wouldn't buy your work---all the best with it! Your image has a wonderful gold-night hue, she's posed as out of a 40s or 50s film, the tones are all deep night golds and yellows (and reds), and she's posed in that innocent-but-not-innocent pose that was so popular then. She faces away (shyness), but turns to greet us, with a slightly quizzical gaze. All expertly done. And her blacks, even in her lace, are perfect foil to the reds and golds of the pic---incl in her hair and lips and the shadows on her skin. The background looks like a motel from a noir film, I love the parking thingies (what are they called??? the chunks of concrete which you park against), and the repeated doors, and the line of red lights on top. A very 40s-ish detective scene portrait, and you did a great job on her, her expression and all her details. More expert work from you.
That motel is in Pilot Knob, Missouri, and is your typical 1950's era motel. We stayed there a few years ago. The inside is completely up to date, and immaculate. The WiFi is excellent, and the restaurant next door is outstanding! Directly across the street is historic Ft. Davidson - or at least the earthen foundation of the fort which was destroyed when retreating Union troops set a time-delayed fuse in the powder magazine. The blast was seen and heard for miles.
