At the behest of the android company, an intensive search of the planet below ensues to find the former chief programmer. The blue alien has made it clear he will share his artificial intelligence technology with the android company's CEO but only if he can discuss it with the person that programmed the current androids that are giving the company such a fit with their incredible adaptability. Several teams sweep out across the planet following up every lead they can find about the programmer's whereabouts. Finally, the two best trackers get a lead that pays off. On a very remote island out in the middle of a huge ocean, the programmer is basking in the gentle tropical breezes under swaying palm trees, enjoying life to his fullest. The trackers find a landing pad near what appears to be a very old structure. They are intrigued that such a structure would be built in the middle of nowhere. They climb down to the beach and finally arrive at the programmer's location. 'You really covered you tracks quite well. I can see why you didn't want to be found!' says one of the trackers. 'You must know why we are here.' 'I have my suspicions.' mutters the programmer. 'By the way, meet my two friends. They are here to protect me in case I get attacked by bears.' He smiles when he says that and the two trackers give nervous laughs in return, not knowing what to expect from the two body guards. But civility prevails. The programmer invites the two trackers up to the old castle for drinks and dinner. They discuss the request of the android company's CEO on the way. The programmer says he will have to give it some serious thought before he makes up his mind. He encourages them to get comfortable and enjoy the amenities of his island. M4 characters.
